A mother-of-seven missing for weeks was discovered dead in a trash – and a man has been arrested in connection with her death.

Brittany Moran, 30, was last seen around Loveland, Ohio, on May 15 or 16. She was an avid Facebook user and was reported missing by her mother, Audrey Moran, after a few days of inactivity on the social media platform.

Police told Audrey that they found her daughter’s body on Friday inside a trash can along Paddock Road in Paddock Hills, about 20 miles from where she vanished.

‘She had been missing for two weeks and when she was found it was not in the way we were hoping,’ wrote Brittany’s cousin, Brandi Clark, in a GoFundMe page for her burial expenses.

‘This was a very sudden loss for my family.’

Dean Allen, 50, has been arrested in connection with Brittany’s death, her family said on Tuesday.

‘No person deserves this,’ said Audrey, according to WLWT.

‘Because of him, and how he treated my daughter, I can’t even see her for the last time.’

Brittany leaves behind seven kids, according to Audrey.

‘It would mean so much to my family to give her a proper burial so we and her children can have a spot to visit her at,’ wrote Clark.

Brittany’s cousin added that she ‘had a complicated life of many highs and lows’.

Allen has been charged with abuse of a corpse and tampering with evidence.

Brittany Moran was last seen in the Loveland area of Ohio on May 15 or 16.
