Sara Wood (military person)

Sergeant Sara Wood, of the United States Army is a writer and photographer for the American Forces Press Service. Wood’s articles are republished throughout the branches of the United States Department of Defense.

Wood is notable for the articles she has written profiling other groundbreaking women in the United States Armed Services, such as Leigh Ann Hester and Nicole Malachowski.[1][2]

Wood is notable for having taken some of the controversial photos of the United States Guantanamo Bay detention camps, in Cuba.[3]
