Druids Celtic Cider

Druids Celtic Cider is a cider[1] produced by Comans Wholesale in Ireland. It is sold primarily in the Irish market and has become popular among certain groups of young people. Its popularity can be attributed to its high alcohol content and its relatively low price. It contains 6% alcohol by volume. It contains sulfites, a group of naturally-occurring compounds used as preservatives in fruit-based food products. It has 285 Calories per 500 ml.

Druids has attained cult status amongst some student groups, who celebrate its cheapness and its rivalry with Dutch GoldBavaria and Tuborg lagers also popular for their low price.

Living a druids life. Young people who regularly consume Druids can claim to live a Druids life, one such example is Waterford local Joanne Mortell who gets her fill on just two cans, she has been quoted saying “I have tasted the magic and I live a druids life”.
