The WWE has removed Jimmy Snuka from the Hall of Fame section on their website and Snuka’s profile has also been removed. While his name has been removed though, the WWE has yet to comment on his official HOF status.
The WWE is taking similar action to what they did with Hulk Hogan, when the audio of Hogan making racial slurs surfaced in July. For now though, WWE still has articles, videos and images including Snuka.
This of course, is all in relation to the charges of third-degree murder and involuntary manslaughter laid against Snuka regarding the 1983 death of his then girlfriend, Nancy Argentino.
Here is the WWE’s official statement on Snuka’s status with the company.
“Jimmy Snuka’s non-wrestling ‘legends’ contract has been suspended and we are currently removing his images from our media platforms pending the outcome of this case.”

Snuka is only the second WWE performer to have their profile removed from the company’s Hall of Fame section on the site. Hulk Hogan was removed this past July after racist comments that he made years ago surfaced online. Unlike Hogan, as of this writing, Snuka hasn’t been completely scrubbed from the site and you can still find Snuka related news items and videos.
While Snuka and Hogan have been removed from the Hall of Fame section on WWE.com, WWE has yet to to officially announce that either Superstar has officially been taken out of the actual Hall of Fame.
