List of Decepticons

List of Decepticons

This is a list of Decepticons from the Transformers fictional universe and toyline. The alternate modes of Decepticons are usually military vehicles, to contrast with the civilian vehicles favored by the Autobots.

(Some characters do not have an official name, or any name at all. “Fan-given” nicknames will be indicated with quotation marks. Examples include the unnamed generic Decepticons from the movies. Please do not delete these names. If you wish to change the name to what you think is a better name, feel free to do so.)

Decepticon Jets/Seekers

Seeker was a term originally used in Hasbro’s promotional materials to refer to the Decepticon Jets of the same mode. Only Starscream, Skywarp and Thundercracker were named during Season 1 of the animated series. The name Sunstorm was given retroactively by toy-distributor E-Hobby to the previously unnamed yellow/orange Seeker and Purple/Silver is Slipstream. This was later picked up by comics publisher Dreamwave Productions. Ramjet, Thrust, and Dirge (introduced in Season 2) essentially used the same mold as their Season 1 counterparts but with small modifications, and because of this, they are also known as the “Coneheads”.

    • Scrapmetal – Yellow Volvo Demolition Shears (mergers in not participated so as his killed by teammates spare for parts Megatron’s)
    • Devastator[1][2] (killed by Railgun)

Devastator’s design were definitely made from the Supreme Class Devastator and Legends Class Devastator toys. The head, arms (without left hand) and legs were definitely sourced from the Supreme Class Devastator, but design torso and lower waist was taken from the Legends Class Devastator as this is the only toy in which Scavenger combined with Overload (before the was released toy Devastator from the Studio Series toy lines). As for the Unnamed Bulldozer and the Yellow Dump Truck. Despite Yellow Dump Truck appearance in the film, it was never shown as part of the Devastator’s left leg. Even the Supreme Class Devastator toy proves that Rampage, even without the Yellow Dump Truck, could single-handedly shape the left leg Devastator’s which looked about the same as in the movie. Which makes the appearance of the yellow dump truck erroneous in the movie. A second bulldozer was added to the film as the left hand, presumably to ensure that the Devastator had the same arms size in the film. By 2020, there was a large retcon of the Devastator, it became known that the yellow bulldozer in the film alone forms the left leg of the Devastator and is actually a Constructicon Skipjack (not to be confused with Rampage), and the bulldozer forming the left hand of the Devastator in the film is actually another Scrapmetal. The toy bio of Studio Series Scrapmetal and Studio Series Skipjack also confirms their presence in Egypt during the transformation into a Devastator.

      • Scrapper – Yellow Caterpillar 992G Scoop Loader / Right Arm (killed by Railgun)
